HAP is the hotel consulting and investment arm. ROHM has grown over the years and has and continues to successfully manage hotels nationally. HAP has been involved in a number of hotel transactions, nationally, with an aggregate market value of over $150 million.
Kirit Patel

Kirit Patel has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. More recently he has served as Senior Vice President of Global Capital Markets and National REIT Leader of a NYSE listed company. Working with major investment banks, law firms, financial services institutions and corporations.

Kirit’s hotel experience has involved everything from acquisitions, dispositions and development to financing and marketing. Kirit’s background with Corporate America and his entrepreneurial spirit, give him a unique perspective in today’s dynamic and competitive hotel market.
After co-founding HAP, LLC, Kirit helped co-found ROHM Group, LLC. HAP is the hotel consulting and investment arm and ROHM is the hotel management arm. ROHM has grown over the years and has and continues to successfully manage hotels nationally. HAP has been involved in a number of hotel transactions, nationally, with an aggregate market value of over $150 million.
Kirit is very active in the business and civic community in Atlanta; he is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program and AAHOA to name a few. He also dedicates time to help with a variety of charitable organizations.
Kirit graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Real Estate. Kirit also completed post-graduate certification with honors in Corporate Business transactions at NCPT (a former institute of higher learning focusing on legal specialist training).
Kal Patel
Principal & Co-Founder
A native of India and born in 1978, Kal and his parents migrated to the United States in 1979, where he was raised and schooled. In 2001, Kal graduated from Savannah State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. read more
Today his company, Image Hotels, Inc., owns and operates multiple hotels throughout the Southeast. Still growing and expanding, Kal is also actively involved in industry groups such as AH&LA, AAHOA, Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association while participating in national events such as the Lodging Conference and Hotel Investment Conference. Additionally, Kal also plays an active role on the Young Professional Hoteliers task force committee for AAHOA. As a result of his consistent dedication and passion for hospitality, he has received numerous awards and recognitions for lodging accomplishments from industry leaders, franchisors, and municipalities.
With over a decade of experience, Kal thoroughly understands the hospitality business, and the leading indicators that not only makes the business successful, but most importantly the people that operate the business successful and the consumers that use the business satisfied.
Jeff Paul
Director of Operations
Jeff is Director of Operations for ROHM Hotels. He has been in single and multi-unit hotel operations leadership roles with major brands (Marriott, IHG, and Hilton) for over 25 years. read more
He started his career in the hospitality industry with Marriott Hotels in the New York region after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Widener University in Chester, PA. His career then took him through successful General Manager and regional roles with Carlson Hotels, Vista Host Hotels, and Intrawest Hospitality. This ultimately led to multi property Regional Director & Asset Director leadership roles with IHG and AHIP.
As an integral member of the ROHM leadership team, Jeff is the Director of Operations and works closely with hotel ownership and property leadership teams daily to drive operational excellence in all key performance areas. His experience and knowledge with hotel operations, hotel owners, hotel brands, and multi-unit property management round out a solid leadership team for the ROHM Group. Jeff has a long track record developing positive key stakeholder relationships based on mutual trust and helping exceed expectations.
Lindsey Mitchell
Controller
As the Controller for ROHM Group, Lindsey Mitchell is responsible for the delivery of financial services such as accounting, sales tax preparation, reporting, and budgeting, in accordance with franchise compliance and organizational policies. read more
Lindsey was born and raised in Northwest Illinois and has now resided in the Atlanta Metro area for over 18 years. She is a cum-laude graduate of Shorter University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. As a dedicated member of the management team she is both diligent in financial analysis and committed to the overall success of the business.
She truly takes to heart the mission, vision and core values of the company.
Debbie Moore
Director of Revenue Management
Prior to joining the ROHM Group as the Director of Revenue Management, Debbie served in various hotel and corporate level leadership positions with multiple brands. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Debbie began her career in Cincinnati, OH working for HMG Hospitality, a large West Coast based multi brand hotel management company. read more
She worked her way up in through Food and Beverage, Rooms Operations and Sales and Marketing positions. She then found her passion in the Revenue Management discipline in 2000 where she has progressively worked her way up to multi-unit Revenue Management leadership roles.
In 2007, Debbie became a Portfolio Revenue Manager, then a Lead Portfolio Revenue Manager with IHG’s Revenue for Hire Program. In this role, she led a team of Revenue Managers as well as oversaw her own portfolio of hotels. Debbie’s focus on Revenue Management strategy and experience supporting multi-unit portfolio’s across key brands including Marriott, Hilton, and IHG make her a key asset on the ROHM leadership team.
Perry Tarleton
Corporate Director of Sales
Perry started his career in operations as a part time steward at an 830 room hotel at Chicago O’Hare airport. After being selected to participate in a 2 year manager training program in which he was trained in every department of the hotel, he fell in love with the hospitality industry, so much that he chose the industry over his training to become a Teacher. read more
Perry has been very involved in organizations such as the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP), where he has held positions on the local and national board, member of the local GBTA and has been a member of the local Georgia chapter of GSAE. While working in the Atlanta Airport area he was also involved in the Atlanta Airport Chamber and other City and Airport Committees. Perry is well known and respected within the Atlanta Hospitality Industry.
Roderick Horton
Human Resources Manager
Roderick is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, he has worked in the hospitality industry for twenty years. He began his career as a night auditor and built on his strengths of customer service and team building to work his way up to various leadership roles. read more
Roderick is also a dedicated animal lover volunteering his time and resources to the Atlanta Humane Society and various animal rescue organizations. In his downtime Roderick enjoys traveling and exploring local eateries.
